It's playoff time, and Cristo Rey St. Martin had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Chicago Academy Cougars by a score of 45-32 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the CRSM sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Alexy Chapa was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Cristo Rey St. Martin's points. Another player making a difference was Lilibeth Martinez, who posted 15 points and five boards.

Cristo Rey St. Martin's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Chicago Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Coming up, Cristo Rey St. Martin will square off against Regina Dominican at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chicago Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
