Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Cody Lawton stepped things up a notch to give Cabrillo the 'W'. Lawton wasn't messing around, getting 27 assists. The game was his ninth straight with 12 or more assists.

Lawton and Cabrillo will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Maria at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Conquistadores are a perfect 8-0 against the Saints going back to February of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
