Basketball Recap: New Ulm Comes Up Short

New Ulm and Mankato West squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but New Ulm had to settle for second. They lost 79-54 to the Mankato West Scarlets. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

New Ulm's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Mankato West, their victory bumped their record up to 11-17.

As of now, neither New Ulm nor Mankato West have any future games scheduled.
