Softball Game Preview: North Forsyth Vikings vs. Parkland Mustangs

The North Forsyth Vikings will face off against the Parkland Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Forsyth is looking for their season's first win.

Friday just wasn't the day for North Forsyth's offense. They lost 16-0 to Morehead on Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parkland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over T.W. Andrews on Tuesday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 12 runs or more this season.

Parkland's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Forsyth, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
