Volleyball Recap: Susquehannock Extends Winning Streak to Three

Susquehannock had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Eastern York Golden Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Susquehannock was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-7.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Susquehannock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Morton, who had ten digs and three aces. Morton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Turk, who had 21 assists and four digs.

Susquehannock's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Eastern York, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Susquehannock will host Red Lion at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern York, they will be playing in front of their home fans against York Suburban at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
