The DuQuoin Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. DuQuoin will be strutting in after a victory while Anna-Jonesboro will be coming in after a defeat.

While DuQuoin's win against Frankfort wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 victory over the Redbirds on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Anna-Jonesboro duked it out with Pinckneyville on Friday. The Wildcats took a blow against the Panthers, falling 27-0.

DuQuoin's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Anna-Jonesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for DuQuoin against Anna-Jonesboro in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as the squad secured a 42-14 victory. In that contest, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 21-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
