Football Preview: Washington-Marion Charging Indians vs. DeRidder Dragons
Washington-Marion has been away from home for two games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will host the DeRidder Dragons at 7:00 p.m.

Washington-Marion was dealt a 67-16 loss at the hands of Leesville. The Charging Indians have struggled against the Wampus Cats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DeRidder). They blew past LaGrange 55-12 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won three games by 22 points or more so far this season.
DeRidder wouldn't let LaGrange keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. DeRidder can thank Dylon Rhodes and Javaughn Fairley for forcing both of them. Rhodes has been hot for a while, having also posted five or more total tackles the last 20 times he's played. Another thorn in LaGrange's side was Dylan Vines, who made six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and snagged an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Washington-Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for DeRidder, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
