Soccer Game Preview: Grand Junction vs. Pine Creek + Official Tickets

The Grand Junction Tigers will take on the Pine Creek Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Grand Junction is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Liberty get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Grand Junction, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Pine Creek got the win against Arvada West on Wednesday by a conclusive 4-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Pine Creek's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked tenth, while Arvada West are ranked 69th).

Pine Creek hit Arvada West with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nathan Buchanan (2), Aiden VanManen, and Max Kelly.

Grand Junction's victory bumped their record up to 12-0-2. As for Pine Creek, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-3.

Grand Junction couldn't quite get it done against Pine Creek in their previous meeting back in October of 2018 as they fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
