Baseball Recap: Paradise Valley's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Paradise Valley hadn't done well against Youngker recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Trojans came out on top against the Roughriders by a score of 10-6. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Roughriders back in March, they had to take a 5-3 loss.

Nick deChaud and Connor Mitchell did most of the damage at the plate: DeChauD got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Mitchell went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Mitchell has become a key player for Paradise Valley: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 10-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tommy Marshall, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Paradise Valley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13. As for Youngker, with the defeat, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-6.

As of now, neither Paradise Valley nor the Roughriders have any future games scheduled.
