Jenkins had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Buckhorn Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won 13 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jenkins' win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Buckhorn, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jenkins beat the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 later that day.
