Basketball Recap: Naselle Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Naselle Comets were beaten by the Onalaska Loggers 66-35. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Loggers are ranked 44th).

Naselle's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Onalaska, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naselle has already played their next matchup (against Willapa Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Onalaska will take on Morton/White Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Onalaska is facing Morton/White Pass at the right time seeing as Morton/White Pass is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
