Decatur Central and Franklin Central squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Decatur Central had to settle for second. They lost 11-0 to the Flashes. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Hawks, who until this match were averaging 4.04 runs allowed.

Decatur Central is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-12. As for Franklin Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-19.

Decatur Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin Central, they will face off against Center Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Flashes surely won't give up without a fight.
