Basketball Recap: ALA - Mesa North Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

ALA - Mesa North's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took down the Catalina Trojans 61-46. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mavericks as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Catalina saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Makhi Williams posted 15 points. Brayan Moreno was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 11 points.

ALA - Mesa North's win bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Catalina, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

As of now, neither ALA - Mesa North nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
