Armstrong lost to Chrisman back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Trojans won by a set and slipped past the Cardinals 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won four contests in a row.

Armstrong had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Armstrong's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Chrisman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

Armstrong wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hoopeston on the 18th. As for Chrisman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Milford on the 21st.
