Volleyball Recap: Armstrong's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Armstrong came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Chrisman Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since October 2nd.

Armstrong had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Armstrong's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Chrisman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Armstrong is set to challenge their familiar foe Hoopeston at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Chrisman will take on rival Milford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
