Volleyball Recap: St. Charles West Warriors vs. Hannibal Pirates
St. Charles West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hannibal Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2017.
While St. Charles West ultimatly came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19.
St. Charles West's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hannibal, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
St. Charles West will square off against Wright City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hannibal, they will be playing at home against Kirksville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
