It was a good run, but Ontario unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Ashland Arrows by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 12th.

Morgan Pearson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Maddie Mullins, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Ontario's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Ashland, with the victory, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Ontario will challenge Vermilion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ashland, they are taking a road trip to square off against Madison Comprehensive at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
