Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairmont). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Blue Earth Buccaneers 89-32. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Fairmont's third in a row) raised their record to 14-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Blue Earth, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Fairmont will be playing at home against St. Peter at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully St. Peter likes a good challenge. As for Blue Earth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Maple River at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday. Maple River has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 213 points over their last three contests.
