            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Carteret). They were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the South Amboy Governors on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Ramblers considering their two-run performance the  match before.
 Eric Thompson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  RBI was  his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Lucas Rivera, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI.  Drexler Rodriguez was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
