Basketball Recap: Santa Ynez Skates Past Nipomo with Ease

Santa Ynez lost to Nipomo back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Santa Ynez Pirates blew past the Nipomo Titans, posting a 72-24 victory. The match marked the Pirates' most dominant win of the season.

Santa Ynez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jude Pritchard, who went 6 of 12 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Skidmore, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points.

Santa Ynez now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Nipomo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Santa Ynez will host Righetti at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
