The Corinth Holders Pirates will face off against the Franklinton Red Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Corinth Holders is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Garner: they outscored them in every quarter. The Pirates enjoyed a cozy 57-40 win over the Trojans on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.

Corinth Holders had a senior duo take command as Jada Vanderhorst dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds and Darla Lee posted 19 points and six boards. Vanderhorst has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last eight times she's played. Lauren Sizemore was another key player, putting up five points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, Franklinton took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They skirted past Rolesville 35-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Rams have posted against the Rams since December 14, 2018.

Corinth Holders came up short against Franklinton in their previous matchup back in November of 2017, falling 48-42.
