Volleyball Recap: Lindsay Cardinals vs. Hughson Huskies
Lindsay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hughson Huskies.
Alyah Ibarra paced Lindsay's offense, picking up three kills. Ibarra got some help from Irene Gonzalez and her three assists.
Leading Hughson to victory were Julia Daniels and Emery Visaraga. Daniels had ten assists and four digs, while Visaraga had ten assists and three aces.
Lindsay's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Hughson, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.
Lindsay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against California School for the Deaf on the 6th. As for Hughson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Central Catholic on the 6th.
