Basketball Recap: Stadium Comes Up Short

Stadium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-36 loss at the hands of the North Creek Jaguars. The Tigers were down 51-23 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Jocelyn Tamayo was a one-woman wrecking crew for North Creek as she went 10 for 16 on her way to 24 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison McGill, who went 6 of 8 on her way to 14 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Stadium's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for North Creek, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stadium will welcome Inglemoor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jefferson at 3:00 p.m. One thing working in North Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
