On Saturday, the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions got the win against the Mariemont Warriors by a conclusive 78-56. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami Valley Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Casey Heap, who went 10 for 17 en route to 27 points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Heap a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jude Rosen, who almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.

Miami Valley Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Mariemont, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.

Miami Valley Christian Academy and Mariemont could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Miami Valley Christian Academy will face off against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 167 places (242 vs. 75). Similarly, Mariemont (ranked 283rd) will meet Wyoming (ranked ninth) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
