Hoquiam is 6-1 against Ilwaco since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Grizzlies will host the Fishermen at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Hoquiam managed to keep up with Raymond/South Bend until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Grizzlies lost 5-0 to the Ravens. Hoquiam have struggled against Raymond/South Bend recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Ilwaco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against Elma, falling 4-0.

Ilwaco's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hoquiam, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-2.

Hoquiam took their win against Ilwaco when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Fishermen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
