Softball Recap: Perry Central Comes Up Short

Perry Central was the 7-5 winner over Providence when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Commodores fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Commodores just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Perry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Providence, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Perry Central will venture away from home to challenge Tell City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Providence, they will challenge Jeffersonville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
