Cairo is a perfect 8-0 against Monroe since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Syrupmakers will square off against the Golden Tornadoes at 5:30 p.m. Cairo has given up an average of 3.1 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cairo is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against LaGrange on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Grangers.

Meanwhile, Monroe fell victim to Westover and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 7-0. That's two games in a row now that Monroe have lost by exactly seven goals.

Cairo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Monroe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Cairo took their win against Monroe in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Syrupmakers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
