Basketball Recap: Cassville Takes a Loss

Cassville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 42-35 to the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly seven points.

Cassville's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Mt. Vernon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Cassville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-24 win against Spokane on the 25th. As for Mt. Vernon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-49 defeat against Monett on the 25th.
