Recap: Dothan Wolves vs. Auburn Tigers
It was a good run, but the Dothan Wolves unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 57-53 loss to they. They have struggled against Auburn recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Auburn's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antwane Daniels, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Bradley Pearson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Dothan's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Auburn, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dothan will take on Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Auburn, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Central at 7:00 p.m. Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Auburn likes a good challenge.
