Garden County has gone a perfect 8-0 against Banner County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Garden County Eagles will square off against the Banner County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Banner County took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Garden County, who comes in off a win.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Garden County took on Hay Springs on Friday. Garden County pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over Hay Springs.

Kirstyn Beberniss and Payton Fornander were among the main playmakers for Garden County as the former went 5-for-7 to rack up 15 points and six rebounds and the latter posted eight points and five steals. What's more, Beberniss also posted a 71% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024.

Banner County played against Crawford on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Garden County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points over those games. As for Banner County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Garden County against Banner County in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garden County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
