Basketball Game Preview: Azusa Aztecs vs. Nogales Nobles

Azusa hasn't had much luck against Nogales recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Azusa Aztecs will square off against the Nogales Nobles at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, Azusa came up short against Duarte and fell 42-34.

Meanwhile, Nogales was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 63-15 loss at the hands of Sierra Vista. The matchup marked the Nobles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Nogales' defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Azusa, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Azusa beat Nogales 54-41 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Azusa since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
