Soccer Recap: Steele Canyon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Steele Canyon lost to Helix back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Highlanders, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Steele Canyon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 869th, while Helix are ranked 414th).

Steele Canyon has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season. As for Helix, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Steele Canyon will face off against Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Helix, they will square off against Granite Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
