After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shadyside, Shenandoah was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Monroe Central Seminoles 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Zeps: when they faced off against the Seminoles back in March, they had to take a 8-4 defeat.

Hunter Street spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on 12 hits.

At the plate, Shenandoah's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brody Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Peyton Forshey was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Shenandoah now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Monroe Central, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Shenandoah will square off against Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Zeps' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Monroe Central, they will face off against Toronto at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
