Volleyball Game Preview: Palm Grove Christian Gators vs. Gulf Coast H HEAT

The Palm Grove Christian Gators will challenge the Gulf Coast H HEAT at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Palm Grove Christian has five straight wins, Gulf Coast H has 18 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Palm Grove Christian got the win against Sarasota Christian by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Palm Grove Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 25-18, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Gulf Coast H came up short against Berkeley Prep on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-13.

Palm Grove Christian pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Gulf Coast H, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Palm Grove Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Gulf Coast H in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Gators repeat their success, or do the HEAT have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
