Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Academy Comes Up Short

Oakwood Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Sentinels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 8th.

Oakwood Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakwood Academy will host Woodville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, they will welcome Whitesburg Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
