Coalfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Jo Byrns 39-14. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won ten contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Sale Creek challenged Rockwood on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 22-14. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Panthers were the (much) better team in the second half.

Sale Creek had a senior duo take command as Hunter Fowler gained 180 total yards and a touchdown and Jd Skiles rushed for 74 yards and one score.

Sale Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 259 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
