Baseball Recap: Center Comes Up Short

Center lost to Wheatland back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars fell 6-3 to the Pirates. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Andy Hintz made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Hintz is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Jordan Chavez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Center's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Wheatland, their record now sits at 6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Center by a score of 11-1 on Friday.
