Volleyball Recap: Peekskill Triumphs

Peekskill's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Pawling Tigers by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Red Devils, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 24-26, 26-24.

Peekskill found their leader in sophomore Camila Torres, who had eight digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Torres.

Peekskill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Peekskill now has a winning record of 3-2.

Peekskill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Mahopac on the 16th. As for Pawling, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Dover on the 17th.
