Marian Catholic barely beat Nativity BVM the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Marian Catholic took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 41-14 victory over Nativity BVM. Marian Catholic might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Marian Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rory Dixon, who rushed for 194 yards and one score while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Dixon really tore up the turf during one magnificent 92-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Price, who gained 121 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Marian Catholic was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 316 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Marian Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jake Tom and Nolan Marsch. Tom got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 11.9 points per game this season, so Marian Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Nativity BVM, they will face off against Lackawanna Trail at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. The Green Wave will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
