Arcola has gone a perfect 4-0 against Villa Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Arcola Purple Riders will host the Villa Grove Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Arcola has six straight wins, Villa Grove has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Arcola didn't have too much trouble with Unity Christian as they won 53-36.

Meanwhile, Villa Grove lost to Argenta-Oreana at home by a 68-50 margin on Tuesday. The Blue Devils were down 56-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Arcola's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Villa Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
