Preview: Worthing Colts vs. North Forest Bulldogs
The Worthing Colts will head out on the road to face off against the North Forest Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Worthing came up short against Wheatley and fell 58-51. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Worthing in their matchups with Wheatley: they've now lost three in a row.
North Forest suffered their biggest loss since November 7, 2023 on Monday. They were outmatched by Washington on the road and fell 60-20.
Worthing's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for North Forest, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Worthing against North Forest when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 68-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Worthing since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
