Volleyball Game Preview: Lone Peak Knights vs. Prescott Badgers

The Lone Peak Knights will face off against the Prescott Badgers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Lone Peak sitting on five straight victories and Prescott on four.

Lone Peak is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: American Fork, who was ranked 16th at the time (Lone Peak was ranked fifth). Lone Peak narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past American Fork 3-2.

Lone Peak got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 30-32, 25-17, 25-21, 22-25, 19-17.

Meanwhile, Prescott made easy work of Lee Williams on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-13.

Lone Peak's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Prescott, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
