Pearland came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks with a sharp 14-1 win. Considering the Oilers have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
