Basketball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East lost against West Platte back in January of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. East were dealt a 57-20 defeat at the hands of the West Platte Bluejays. While losing is never fun, East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 567th, while West Platte is ranked 222nd).

East's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for West Platte, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

East has already played their next contest (against Frontier STEM), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Platte also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against East Buchanan.
