Northwestern barely beat Cameron the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 11-4 victory on Monday. Considering the Tigers have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Northwestern pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Cameron, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Northwestern beat the Comets by a score of 11-5 later that day.
