Basketball Recap: Union City Sets Scoring Season-High Against Geary

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union City). They blew past the Geary Bison 65-45 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted since December 10, 2024.

Union City now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Geary, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Union City is taking a road trip to take on Mason at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Union City is facing Mason at the right time seeing as Mason is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Geary, they will face off against Corn Bible Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th. Corn Bible Academy's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Geary's offense will have their work cut out for them.
