Volleyball Recap: Crofton Takes a Loss

If Crofton was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Chesapeake Science Point on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Crofton came up short against the Centennial Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Crofton was not able to make up for their loss to Centennial from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Centennial scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-19.

Crofton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Centennial, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Crofton has already played their next contest (against Marriotts Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
