Basketball Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss

Seminole was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Stroud Tigers, falling 47-24. The Chieftains were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Stroud, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5.

Seminole wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-26 loss against Ada on the 14th. As for Stroud, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-28 defeat against Meeker on the 14th.
