On Tuesday Jarrett Thomas didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. The effort also marked the fewest hits (three) Thomas has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his seventh in a row with more than five strikeouts. This year, he has an ERA of 1.49 over 47 innings pitched.
