Basketball Recap: Will Anderson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Palisades over Southern Lehigh

Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 51-25 to the Southern Lehigh Spartans. The match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Palisades lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Will Anderson, who posted six points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Cook, who scored eight points.

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Southern Lehigh, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Palisades won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Brandywine Heights Area at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southern Lehigh, they will challenge Salisbury Township at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
